Researched sizes first before I picked this one. Used on the back of my side by side as a shelter from sun and rain when I'm hauling food between my BBQ and Restaurant.Took a little ingenuity to mount and had to make lower brackets but works as intended. Company should branch out and make them for side by sides . Retractable bed covers

I bought two awnings to shade two garden shed windows. Overall quality was good for the price... except one plastic end cap had 2 broken snap attachments right out of the box. Packaging was good - so manufacturer must have sent them broken. LUCKILY, I used silicone glue to hold it in place and I think that will work. Instructions were a little difficult to follow, but being a visual learner we figured it out. Retractable arms have the wire spring loaded so tight one can easily damage a finger. Use vise grips to lock it in the reverse position to mark wall drill holes. And good luck getting it over the wood screws - but we did it even though it damaged the window frame paint job!!!

This is a high quality product for the money. Other awnings will cost $300-$500. This awning is very functional and seems to be made well. The instructions are not great so some logic is needed to install. I ordered 2 more for my other windows. I will update this review as soon as I install the other 2.

The product is of good quality, but the instructions are ridiculous. The mount brackets are not threaded to allow the bolt to lock in the assembly in. I had to disassemble one end of the unit and slide a nut in to allow the bolt to tighten against it. Also, the side arms are spring loaded like a mouse trap making it very difficult to install them. If you are not handy with improvising things, don't order these.

Once installed, it functions perfectly; however, the last steps shown on the included installation guide should be ignored. Instead, use the video Amazon provides at the point of purchase. It is clearer and provides needed measurement information and views.
