I rated this product low because their pictures are completely misleading. I willing paid a little more for this acrylic box because all seven of their pictures advertised an acrylic box with a clear lid/top. Flat out false advertising and; unfortunately, I do not have time to return it as I am putting together a gift using an acrylic box. The lid for the mDesign box has over 30 vertical acrylic lines/ridges across the entire top, thereby, obstructing the view of the interior. If you wish to see what the mDesign lid actually looks like search on Amazon for the "Isaac Jacobs Small Stackable Organizer Bin (10.75” x 6.5” x 2.4”)." The lid looks just like that lid. As for sturdiness, all these acrylic boxes are the same. If you drop one on a hard surface it will suffer major cracks. Silly review question. I will not buy from mDesign again because they blatantly mislead potential customers with a bait and switch.

I was so happy to open this and see it was EXACTLY as described and pictured. It is crystal clear with a hinged lid. Perfect for protecting photos, embellishments--anything you want to organize and keep dust away. These are stackable also, therefore being that this box is so sturdy and well made, I will definitely be ordering more to organize my craft room especially!
