It is heavy but thats what I was after. very solid and will last forever. Im a big guy. I used it to break new garden areas and to roughly till and airate garden areas. Will use to pry up tubers this fall. might be more uses. I like it.

It actually works out great in my garden , only disadvantage is that it's heavy for a older person like myself , it may be difficult to use if your a woman also .

Very sturdy broadfork but also pretty heavy. This is the one for tall individuals. I am 6'4" and it seemed right. A bit of a workout if soil is a bit wet and has some clay as you have to pull up pretty good to lift and reposition it. No regrets in the purchase as it does a nice job of opening up the soil and it's nice and wide so one pass to prepare a growing area does it. Definitely a once in a lifetime purchase based on its sturdiness
