Solid...that is the first word that comes to mind. I have owned multiple flavor injectors over the years and they have been plastic, with those units I accepted they would last for only a few uses and then fall apart, usually at the connection of the needle and the injector.NOT THIS ONE...the stainless steel injector is solid, sturdy and heavy (not in a negative way). The two included needles are of the same high quality, solid construction. The marinade injection distributes well and the thick injector equally as well. There is ZERO leakage at the joint of the needle to the body, a problem which every other unit I have owned had.The three ringed design gives you a solid handle that is lacking in other products. The leverage created means you don't have to push as hard to inject the marinade nor do you get that sudden burst that many flavor injectors create when the stuck plunger suddenly moves and you inject half the container into the meat when you only meant to use a little. Less waste, more use.It easily disassemble to clean, is easy to lubricate with a little cooking oil, and reassemble.I received the product for a discounted price in exchange for an honest review

I bought a different brand of this a few years ago and it was a total disappointment.The needles were narrower and easily clogged and there was always leakage around where the injector met the needle. But, this BBQ Butler Marinade Injector is the real deal! Heavy duty, no leakage and thicker needles to handle thicker marinades.I tested this out as soon as I received it and I am very pleased. I also like the three-finger injector top - which makes injecting thicker marinades much easier. There is no leakage and the unit works great - and cleans up easily. I highly recommend it!This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review. And, frankly, because of the issues I had with the other brand I bought earlier - I would have probably not purchased another except at a discount - but, I've already decided to get two or three more of these as gifts for my hardcore cook/bbq friends!

This is a nice, heavyweight injector. Very sturdy unlike the others that I have purchased in the past. Easy to clean as well.
