Prepare yourself for the frustrating challenge of applying that entire sticker thing __under__ your violin strings!!!It'll keep getting stuck in a crooked position and you'll keep having to remove it.The trick is that after awhile it will begin to lose some of its extreme stickiness and then you have a chance to move it into place. You want to get two thin & long pieces of plastic, like from a sturdy plastic bag. And put them under the top and bottom of this fingerboard-guide-sticker - but just barely! Then position the sticker a straight as you can under the strings and use the plastic pieces to pull it into a perfect straight position. Then hold the top down as you pull the plastic away. Same with the bottom.EDIT: I guess the real way of doing this was to remove most of all of the strings first. But the people likely to buy this product are beginners that don't want to mess with their violin.
