I got this so I could use a shaker cup on my magnetic stirrer and not worry about swallowing the spinner (lol). The X is large enough that it does not fit through the turbine shape insert to my GFuel shaker making it impossible to have get through the mouthpiece. Maybe it's because of the shape, or the strength of the magnet inside, but it can not spin as fast as my oval spinner. This one will jump and start bouncing and no longer stir as intended if my dial gives it more than about 60% power which was disappointing. My oval gives a better stir but this one is safer for my purpose but is weaker.

Tested it it quite large and too big to fit into for example a 24/40, 1L round bottom flask (flat) but it works for other uses. I may need a biger type for a future Project with Bacteria and biofilms.
