these shaft collars while being nicely made and packaged, are not 1" id/borethey are 25mm which makes them about 16 thousands (.016") undersize.the box they are packaged in also states them as being 1" but they will not slide onto a 1" shaftand as measured they come out at being right at .016" undersize which makes them 25mm id/bore shaft collarsas it turns out, they i will work just fine for my application as i am turning down my spindles from 1" to 25mm to use 25mm id bearings, so for me they are perfect.had i been wanting to stay with 1" spindles, these shaft collars would have to be chucked up in my lathe and bored out from 25mm to the advertised 1" borefwiw
