Works ok but is low quality. I tested on clicking sounds on hard counter top with the probe. Definitely gets louder the closer I get to metal tapping sound I was making. I tried the horn on my chest and could NOT hear my heart beat. The rubbery ear pieces have molding flash all around them. Had to file off or they irritated my ears. The tension holding the ear pieces in is quite weak and the ear pieces don't make a good seal. There is no way to adjust the tension. The horn had 1/2 inch long molding flash inside that I had to grind off with a rotary sanding cylinder. Probe threads are rough and they only threaded into the stethoscope about 1/8 inch before locking up. Hoses are fairly flexible, no complaints about them. Not sure this is any better than holding a long screwdriver agaisnt something and my ear. The worst part is the lack of tension between the ear pieces. If they could be tightened then it would be a decent tool after completing finishing operations that the factory should do.
