This is a totally unique take on a garage stool. It is comfortable and fairly solid. I think the shocks should hold up longer than others but I'm a little concerned about the swivel. I'm 250lbs and while it works I can feel it not wanting to...For the money I really expected everything to be good. I do like it though, time will tell I guess.

I have this in my garage and overall I think it is a very nice stool to have. I like the seat being nice and thick. I like the large wheels that roll easily over my garage floor and over the cut relief cracks in the floor. I like the storage space on the bottom of it, and I like that the seat raises up and down. Now when I sit on the chair it does fell like it wants to wobble some, but I don't think that is anything to really worry about. Overall I think this is a very nice garage roller stool and would recommend it to anyone looking for one.

Okay, so I get what a couple others have said about the holes in the bottom of the seat. Three of my four went in without a problem. Only one had some fabric that got caught up in it. But I used a very small screwdriver to get it out, and the fourth went in without a problem as well. There's VERY little assembly to this. The wheels just get pushed up in their holes, and then it's attaching the bracket to the seat, and then to the body. This thing is really sturdy. The seat spins around, and it has a nice tray to collect lugs or whatever. I'm all in on it.

Makes working on wheels and brakes a lot less back breaking. The magnets hold loose bolts and the tool tray is super handy. No more sockets rolling down the driveway. Feels pretty sturdy, however the seat mounting swivel is a little wobbly. Not sure I 100% trust it yet. Was pretty easy to put together. 8 bolts in total and snap the wheels on and it was good to go in less than 10 minutes.

This mechanic stool with wheels is exactly what I needed for my garage! The hydraulic height adjustment works smoothly, making it easy to find the perfect position for any task. The padded seat is comfortable even for long periods, and the 360° swivel allows for easy movement without straining. The build quality is solid, with a heavy-duty frame that easily supports the 400 lbs capacity. The 4-inch casters roll effortlessly over different surfaces, including concrete and mats, without getting stuck. It feels very stable, and the wide base prevents tipping. One minor complaint is that during shipping, one of the plugs for the metal tubing was broken due to impact. However, this is more of an aesthetic issue than a functional one, and it doesn’t affect the performance of the stool at all.Overall, this is a well-designed, durable, and comfortable rolling stool that makes working in the garage so much easier. Despite the minor shipping issue, I still highly recommend it for mechanics, DIYers, or anyone needing a reliable shop stool!

Well right off the bat I’ll start with the bad, echoing another reviewer the holes in the bottom of the seat get lost in the material. I had to use a pick to clear the hole to start the bolt. The next issue seemed to be the ball bearing plate that mounts to the seat. With the diameter of the pressed on fitting around an inch this creates what feels like an imbalance and while the shocks will certainly hold 400lbs, we will see how long the seat mounted to this ball bearing plate lasts. That was the bad, good things are looks well constructed with solid weld and powder coat. The shocks are premium and this allows adjustability in height, topside spins freely and so does the bottom. There are no wheel stops on the wheels. The wheels are truly non marring and soft as described. The magnets on the bottom of the large tray storage area are a nice idea. Overall a nice chair with nice features but assembly could be easier with some changes to the seat.

On first impression, this is a great chair. The seat is puffy and very comfortable. The wheels are excellent, very large, smooth and quiet. In fact it is a joy to roll around on this thing. There is plenty of adjustment height to get you through most of your ground-level jobs. I use mine primarily for motorcycle work and the size and height is perfect. Functionally, it is great with one caveat, and that is at the lowest setting which for some reason causes the seat to lose stability and wobbles and makes loud crack noises. In fact I would avoid using it without at least an inch or two of height set in it. The powder coat(?) is thorough so I don't image I will have to deal with any rust issues, but I found some drips which were a little unsightly. The tack welds are probably my biggest concern as they seem to be few and small without much penetration from what I can tell. The price is also a little high in my opinion. If it were a solid unit I feel it would be worth every penny but given the construction and durability as it is, I feel it is a little high.

I have been using a different brand of stool in my shop for quite some time, but often work with my son on the car so I got this for a second rolling seat. I was pleasantly surprised at the sturdiness and heft of it. It's very heavy duty from top to bottom. The assembly consists of sliding the casters in, bolting the swivel on to the frame and the challenging part: attaching the swivel to the padded seat. This took a while. I'd recommend making this the first step before attaching the swivel to the seat and you'll have an easier time.Once put together, it is fantastic. I read other reviews where they experienced some issues with the seat being out of level, however this one does not have that issue. The seat is very comfortable and swivels with ease. The wheels are heavy duty and large so they're not hanging up on every little crack or pebble. It's height adjustable with the pull of a lever. Very pleased with this creeper stool. It's a bit on the spendy side but if you do a lot of work on a creeper stool, I believe this is worth the money.
