Your cart is empty.Full set (plus a couple extra, total of 90 straps) of medium size cork style bridle strap to replace missing or broken bridle strap in spinet, console, studio or upright action. Easiest option for hammerbutt with hole in catcher. Large/medium/small refers to the diameter of the cork on the end of the bridle strap, not length of the strap itself as they are all the same length. The holes vary slightly in size between piano makes, medium is the set I use most often but do use large and small from time to time. The cork on this set is tapered between about .210" to .270" and fits a 1/4" hole (.250") very well. NEW! Bridle strap insertion tool included with purchase.

I recently used these to replace my old rotten bridle straps, at first I was concerned because the design was different from the factory design but the corks worked perfectly in the little holes where they were supposed to go! The little tool they give is also very helpful! I am very satisfied! Especially for how easy it was for a first timer.

If you doing this you know how easy or not easy it is. I would recommend removing your hammer to install this. I am by no means a professional for fixing my piano I am just learning and I don’t have an action stand to remove the piano action so if you’re like me I would just recommend removing each individual hammer that needs a new bridal strap if yours is like mine it probably needs most of them if not all of them.
