This stuff is great!!! Typical Meguiars Pro line quality. Did my wife’s Burgandy Pearl Acura while she and my daughter were on mini vacation. They were amazed at the results, as was I. No swirls left, took out all but deepest scratches. Easy off too. I put a coat of M27 on top - which btw is great if don’t need swirl removal. Car almost washes itself if it rains.

Overall this is a very good all-in-one (AIO) / cleaner wax. In general, I think AIOs are underutilized by the average consumer, who will get a great bang-for-the-buck for overall paint improvement compared to a non-cleaner wax. If you're time limited and simply don't want to compound or polish the paint PLUS apply a layer of protection, Meguiar's M300 is fantastic. I recommend using a dual action machine with foam polishing pad for most folks (don't focus on the color of the pad since they're inconsistent between brands). You probably don't want a finishing pad, which is usually black and mostly used for applying wax (and won't correct many scratches). You want one step more aggressive, which is usually just called a polishing pad, a fine polishing pad, or a one-step pad. This will do a decent job of correcting some light scratches while also finishing down nicely. If you're a geeky detailer, I did find the limitations of the product - soft black paint (2019 Ford in my case). Other big offenders off the top of my head include Honda, Subaru, and Tesla. What I found is that I could get a decent cut with a foam cutting pad on a 15mm random orbital polisher. It removed swirls, but not isolated deep scratches, as expected. I experimented with finishing with a light polishing pad (white for the brand I'm using) vs a finishing pad (black for the brand I'm using). The light polishing pad produced decent results. The average person walking by from 20 feet away would probably say it looks really great. Up close, however, it had a cloudy haze that was bothering me. The black paint wasn't black-black. The only way I could get a good finish was to use the fine black finishing pad, very light hand pressure (basically just the weight of the polisher) and the lowest speed on my dual action machine (2,000 rpm). You have to balance the aggressiveness of the pad and polishing compound (or AIO in this case)... M300 is medium-aggressive, so I had to go to the finest pad and most gentle technique to balance it.In the future, I will still use M300, just not on soft black paint that shows defects like crazy. It's easier for me to get a great finish using an actual finishing polish (such as Meguiar's Ultimate Polish, but there are others out there), with a finishing pad. Of course, then I have to apply wax separately (but there are some good spray waxes that go on pretty quick).*Update: I did re-polish one section of the car using a black finishing pad and Meguiar's Ultimate Polish. On my black '19 Ford, this produced a better result and zero cloud / haze. I finished that section with Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax. About a week later, I decided I'd rather just polish the entire car with Ultimate because it just looked better and darker. I washed the car with Turtle Wax Max Power soap (PH is about 10), and I noticed that the M300 lost its hydrophobicity from just one wash, but the section of the car with Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax was still beading strong. In other words, it was an interesting demonstration that cleaner waxes like M300 do not last as long as a good Si02 spray wax. I've found on other cars that the Meguiar's ceramic spray can last 2-3 months before water beading starts to fail.

So far worked great on removing light to medium swirls, and lays down ceramic protection. Not sure how long it will last, but expecting 3 months or so?
