This is only good for the grip. The dummy battery works sometimes, sometimes it doesn’t. Appearance & fit was great, but thats not why I bought it.

Tenir compte que l'accès à la carte mémoire n'est pas accessible lors de l'utilisation de la poigné . Je n'ai pas remarqué de baisse de performance du boitier Sony 6600 . Pour ce qui est de la télécommande je ne l'ai pas utilisé encore . Je recommande ce produit qui pour le moment démontre une bonne qualité .

Only owned it 24 hrs so far, and it's already broken.Pros-feels well made (except for tray)-easier to do portrait photos-theoretically nice having space for 2 batteriesCons-battery tray is already broken, along with one of my batteries, the second time I tried loading it. luckily it's just the tabs/guides, so functionally it doesn't REALLY matter, but definitely annoying-overall battery life feels worse-obviously adds weight

Did exactly what is advertised, a definite must have for the Sony a6600, without the grip, the camera is too small, with the grip even without a battery in it makes the camera much more comfortable to hold.

Great grip for the A6600. I purchased it to extend the battery life and give the camera a better handling feel. It checks all boxes. I don't really use the cable for the vertical shutter but it's there if you need it. Having the same grip from Meike with the A6400, I'm familiar with it. This one is better though. I don't get battery drain which is the best feature for me.

Using Third Part Batteries, brand new, battery life isnt as long. Feel like I'm at 60% really fast.Quality of the grip is very good. The material seems like it will last well.The grip fits my hands very well and I have larger than average hands.I will update as I use it a second time.

Ergonomically feels great in the hand! The rubber has a a soft touch feel and is very comfortable to hold. I’ll definitely be using this when shooting handheld video on my a6600! It comes with a micro hdmi cord which connects to the grip allowing the shutter to work. It was a little tricky getting one of the batteries in but overall works great and adds some more grip to such a small body. While battery life was never something I was worried about before, it is not even something I’m thinking about now that I have this grip!

Unlike the grip for my a7Rii, you MUST have the micro usb cord connected to the port to use the shutter release on the grip. I thought the cord was just for using the remote. The fact that this requires the wired connection to function is a deal-breaker. I don't want to shoot with a cord sticking out and the door open, and even if I did, the micro USB male end does not align with the port, so you have to twist it around. This is disappointing. If this was half the price I might keep it just for the added grip, but at this price point, it's not worth it. I hope Sony or a third party comes out with a useable grip soon.
