bought to replace a cracked Zildjian 8". looks great and is ok sound with a 10" Zildjian next to it. fast attack and quick splash. pleasantly surprised. waiting to here back from Meinl about how the 2 year warranty works.

I searched for a splash cymbal solely listening to sample videos on cymbal manufacture's websites and out of several I narrowed it down to two. I liked the sound of this 10" Splash as well as the fact it's half the price of the other contender which was a Meinl B10S Byzance 10-Inch Traditional Splash Cymbal quite a but thinner with a lot less cut. Not that price was a major constraint but the sound / tonal difference in these two was not much different.

Awesome sounding splash. Sounds every bit as good as my Paiste signature splash that I replaced it with and for almost half the price
