Designed for a dry, fast, and trashy tone, they deliver explosive grit at high volumes and soft white noise when played lightly. Crashes, splashes, and chinas cut through with raw intensity. Hihats and rides offer crisp definition with a trashy edge. Crafted in Turkey from cast B20 bronze, each cymbal is shaped by skilled smiths. Splashes, crashes, hihats, and effects feature lathed undersides for a smooth feel and warmer tones, while rides stay unlathed for sharp articulation. The Transition Ride stands out with a lathed bottom that’s polished to a brilliant finish.

Great cymbal! Sounds great and does the job of a china without that ear piercing sound. I can use it in places I’d never consider with other chinas. I love you all equally

I had heard a lot of sound samples of this cymbal and watched and listened to it being played on youtube and it sounded amazing. When I finally got my hands on one and tried it, I noticed that when I hit this china it didn't have that full bodied swooshy wet china sound that I had heard in the sound samples and recordings online, rather it was higher pitched and more metalic than I anticipated. I still think this is a good cymbal, certainly not a bad cymbal, and I know drummers that love how short and sweet it sounds, still, for someone like me who swears by the zildjian oriental trash china, this cymbal lacked a lot of those brighter and trashier overtones that I have grown to love so much.If you aren't sure if you like dry cymbals start with looking at a ride cymbal and then make your way to the dry china if you like what you hear. I like some drier cymbals but the extra dry sounds too dry for me to want to use anywhere outside of a studio setting.
