It was a solid item for a great price but usless as meinl decided to design their stands with holes in different places. If they had put them in the same spot as others they would sell more.

Grips my Meinl bongos like a gorilla. No movement, wiggle, flex or any other loss of energy. A solid hit is a solid hit, all energy to the drum. Don't even try other bongo mounts, I have, and been disappointed. Buy THIS mount and save time and trouble.

This is a sturdy piece of equipment well worth the full price, let alone if you buy it from Amazon warehouse as I did. It has the best clamp system for the bongos that I have seen, compared to other units. It also has the most robust ratchet joint- being of a good alloy and oversized- not just a low cost cymbal tilter. I was not too concerned with the bolt pattern for the conga stand as stuff can be modified with drills and ingenuity and frankly there are several ways I can and will use this. For instance- you can just insert the lower ATM into a universal clamp stand or multi clamp. You can also pop/ drill out the roll pin attaching the lower section of the assembly to the tilter, and install a piece of tubing and roll pin it back in and insert it into a standard stand base. I don't he's things all the time toake all my.drum setups (I play kit as well) work for me in the best manner possible. Especially with hand percussion position and stability can be critical, seeing as bad position can mean jammed fingers or worse.Finally this is NOT Chinese made. Great quality.

The product is a high quality, well made piece of equipment, but the holes do not match. Amazon has already issued me a refund. But how do I find the proper mount to attach my Toca Bongos to my Toca Conga stand? Help!
