It’s comfy and helps me not to slide off the instrument when I’m playing. It is a good size for most instruments and it’s lasted over a year of me playing.

I wish it was bigger and thicker, and was thereby more comfortable, butt that's because my cajon also functions as the seat at my home office work station (which I sit on all day). If I had been willing to invest the $30, I would have gone with the larger and thicker Pearl pad, and still may do so next year. But with this Meinl pad, I can't say I didn't get what I paid for.

It is perfect.Spray some adhesive,and attached the cushion to the Cajon,just like my other one.The people that complain,saying it is a Mouse Pad,don't understand the role of the item.It makes it more comfortable,and avoid you slip while sitting and playing.It has the logo,and it is very economical. Like I said,IT IS PERFECT!

Buono il prezzo, buono il prodotto. Non scivola ed è abbastanza comodo. In fondo non ci sono tante parole da dire su un tappeto per poggiare sopra il sedere....eh eh !!!!

Für die geringen Preis erstaunlich gut. Die Auflage liegt gut auf, man ist leicht gepolstert und rutscht nicht mehr von der glatten Cajon nach hinten. Absolute Empfehlung!

It is clearly a 10x10 mousepad. Same thickness, same material but it says Meinl on it. That's totally fine and it's what I was expecting, I suppose. I'm sure it'l do the job just fine. It was $9 so I can't complain too much as oversized mousepads are about 9 dollars anyway and this one says Meinl on it. I wish it were a bit thicker, though. Overall I give it a 4/5. Good but not really great

The Meinl Cajon Pad does exactly what it's designed to do: keep your butt in place. I placed it on top of my Pearl Cajon, and stopped slipping backward. That's pretty much all there is to say. Oh...maybe this - it's like a mouse pad. With a Meinl logo on it. In fact, it might BE a mouse pad with a Meinl logo on it. With the popularity of tablets, iPads, and laptops, that would count as creative re-purposing.

I bought this for my cajon but was disappointed when it finally arrived. As described in the title of this review, this is nothing more than a slightly bigger mousepad. It doesn't really provide that much cushion. Don't waste your money on this item.
