I'm a freelance photographer and was looking for a way to reflect or absorb natural light. This item does it all as it has white on one side to reflect light and there is black and gold and silver to absorb or shadow with silver or gold. I mainly use this for food photography and just the right size to do the job and not get into the images. Very nice materials and lightweight. Easy to fold and store in a gear bag. Also very versatile in setting up.

These are exactly what I was looking for. I do a lot of tabletop photography woth board games and beauty products, and I've been using foam core in black and white, but propping it up is sometimes frustrsting. These tri-fold reflectoes are perfect for my needs. They stand up on their own, are made of paper so lightweight to hold up just outside the frame, and I've even used them as backgrounds with great success.These are paper, so they are not robust, they scratch and dent easily, and you need to be careful not to get them wet. I've been using primarily one for a few months and it's scratched up and dented, but still works great for reflecting as it's intended to do. The price for the two pack 12 x 17 inches was just the amount I wanted to pay for somthing like this ($22 at the time of this review). I will totally pick more up again when these wear out.

These types of things don’t necessarily need to be cosmetically perfect to work per se, but I don’t love receiving pre-loved materials. Hence the review.Might bump the rating once I put these to work. But I think this is a discount worthy situation. It’s not new, someone’s used it!

at first I thought this would only be good for product photography and as I used it for that purpose for a little while it was flawless. I ran into a situation were I had to do a face portrait shoot and I needed a small to midsize reflector quickly and this did the job perfectly it saved my behind. I have the more expensive ones in the studio but we were at the clients home and we needed to adjust quickly. instead go packing everything and taking her to the studio all I had to do was one small adjustment and no time was waisted.
