Nice thick pants for my boyfriend. The knees have pads in them making them more comfortable to work in when having to be on their knees. They’d it perfect and have some stretch to them. They’re a good price as well. He likes the colors and all of the pockets that are on them as well.

These pants are of a lighter weight material, which appears to be the "rip stop" type. They have TONS of pockets...all over, even down around the ankles. (Most of the pockets are zippered.) They have velcto-type cinches at the backs of the knees and the ankles. For the most part, I like them a lot. There are two things, however, I don't like so much. First, they're a little short in the crotch...at least for me. When I pull them up to my waist, they're just a little tighter in the crotch than I would like. I will note that the waistband sorta goes "up" in the back, which is a good thing...that seems to help keep them from sagging in the back. The other thing that's not so great is the kneepads. While the kneepads themselves are fine, they're not intended for this type of pant. These pants are cut for rectangular pads, whereas the pads included are the more "molded" style...for a later generation of Cryes (the types with the cutouts on the knees). Still, I was able to cram them in there...not a perfect fit, but they'll work OK, I think. I'm not an "operator" or anything like that...just for fun at the range. These pants are certainly adequate for that.

I was initially skeptical about the value at the price of these pants, however, as soon as I opened them and tried them on, it was very obvious that they are worth every penny. So many pockets, great adjustments for the sizing, and they simply fit perfectly. Always a bonus to have kneepad pockets, but these come with the kneepads as well, which was great.Looking for new work pants? Start here and you won't look anywhere else after that.

IDOGEAR's Men's Combat Pants combine functionality with comfort. They come equipped with multiple pockets and hidden knee pads, making them perfect for paintball and airsoft enthusiasts. The material is durable and withstands tough conditions well. However, some may find the fit problematic, as the pants tend to run tight around the waist and are long in the legs.

These pants surprised me, I was expecting something tight and uncomfortable, but they are a great fit and the knee pads aren't bad too. Stitching is well done and looks good too. A great value for the money.

Synopsis:Recommended for moderate duty use, range, Airsoft, anything where nods won't be in play. Minus a half star for NIR issue.Reviewed Item:Idogear Men’s Combat Pants Tactical Camo Pants with Hidden Knee Pads for Paintball Airsoft Multi-Pockets TrouserSize: 32W x 32LReview Price: $69.90Initial impressions:I've come to really like Idogear as a company. They make pretty decent gear, good quality knock offs and also some original designs. I find that their gear is usually NIR compliant and usually good materials. Before I get to the review I'd like to provide a bit of personal info so you will know where this review comes from. There are so many utterly disappointing reviews of tactical products by people who have no idea what they are talking about. I work in a tactical environment every day and use serious and usually expensive tactical gear daily. I will review this and all products as they are advertised. If it's sold as real gear, I'll judge it as such. If it's sold as airsoft or milsim I will hold it to that level. This is my second pair of Idogear combat pants (the other is the G3, also awesome). These pants have an internal removable knee pad and are a little less aggressive than the G3 style. They feel like quality and the fabric is thick ripstop but flexible. They have a high back which is great for kneeling and mobility. The knee portion is a different fabric which appears more durable and has a little more texture. The zippers are smooth and are YKK brand in a foliage green color. I saw no manufacturing defects and the stitching was spot on and reinforced. The MultiCam pattern is slightly more yellow than true but is pretty close (see pic). They came in a simple plastic bag but were protected in shipping and storage.Use:They fit great and have so many adjustable areas. The 32L is definitely a full 32 in length but if they're a little long there's several adjustments that can be made to make them work fine. They are comfortable and feel like quality pants. The first thing I did in them was to cut down a medium sized tree and stump removal. That included axe, hatchet, hand saw and chainsaw work along with shovel and pickaxe for the stump. They were aersome for all this movement and work. Zero problems. The main material is NIR compliant but the knee pad fabric was shiny under nods (bummer).

These combat pants are incredibly durable and comfortable. The hidden knee pads are a fantastic feature, providing extra protection for paintball and airsoft activities without sacrificing mobility. The multi-pocket design is very convenient for carrying essential gear. Highly recommend these for outdoor enthusiasts.
