These chef pants are a great fit for both work and comfort. They’re designed for big and tall sizes, which is a huge plus for a good fit. The black cargo style is practical, with plenty of pockets for storing essentials. They come with a storage bag, which is a nice bonus for keeping things organized. The material is durable, though they might feel a bit heavy if you’re not used to thicker pants. Overall, a solid choice for kitchen workwear.

These are great pants for long days in a kitchen, and they're casual enough to be worn without immediately coming off as work pants. The fabric is good, very sturdy and somewhat slick, so it feels like liquids and stains slide right off. I also appreciate all the pockets. I wish they were stretchier, because they're not very comfortable to sit in, but for the quality and durability of the material I don't mind that these serve a very utilitarian purpose. In terms of the fit, it is worth noting that I am a woman and I wear a size 18 or 20 and the 2x fit great at my hips, not so much if I wanted to wear them at my waist. I am not surprised, considering the style of men's tailoring is intended to be worn lower. It took a while to get used to, but it was worth it for the pockets. We all know how women's styles are when it comes to pockets (inconsistent at best). I am also 5'10 and I found them to be long enough for my legs, they hit the top of my sneakers with no problem, which was another reason I opted for men's pants and in that way I am very happy with the fit.Overall they're very sturdy, practical pants. They're great for kitchen work, the material doesn't stain easily and it is holding up great after a few washes. I wish they were a little stretchier, but that is a compromise I am okay making for the quality.

The ARVIKO Men's Chef Pants in a size medium fit my husband perfectly. He is a professional chef and is required to wear a chef's uniform. He is 5'10" and 165 lbs, making the medium size a perfect fit for him. They are roomy enough to wear all day and the side pockets allow him to keep his keys and cell phone on him while he's working. The quality of these pants is very nice and they should last him a while.

I ordered these chef pants because I wanted some work pants that I could also use for casual wear. These fulfill those purposes very well. The fabric is a smooth, dense material that will keep things like flour or splotches of whatever from settling in and not coming out in the wash. The fabric is black, so a lot of stains won’t show anyway. The waist elastic is wide and strong. My pants tend to travel downward, but this wide waistband has been doing a good job of keeping the pants up. I still have to hike them up every once in a while, but not often. The pockets around the sides of the knees are deep and have a hook and loop flap. Because they are on the side of the knee rather than on the front of the thigh they don’t bang on my leg when I walk, something I really appreciate. They’re quite deep as well. The inseam length is a bit long for me (I’d be stepping on the fabric if I wore these without shoes), but they work fine when I’m wearing my shoes.Speaking of deep pockets, the side pockets are not deep at all. I’m concerned that my keys would fall out of them when I get in and out of my car, sit on the couch, etc. The top of my cell phone is exposed and that might fall out as well (though it’s more bulky, so perhaps not). This is the reason that I’m only giving these pants a four-star review rather than five-stars.

The quality and thickness of the fabric make these chef pants comfortable to wear for long periods, and the design provides for plenty of room to move. They handle the wash and dry very well and come out absolutely wrinkle free. The elastic waist is wide and strong, though personally I’d prefer to have belt loops also since my big watermelon beer gut inevitably forces the pants down.As other reviewers have mentioned, the biggest problems are the pockets. The cargo pockets are way too low on the legs, even with my orangutan length arms, and therefore, pretty awkward and difficult to use. Also, the front pockets are so shallow that I’m very uncomfortable carrying anything like my phone or other items in them.If these pocket issues aren’t a problem for you, then I do recommend these comfortable pants. They just don’t work well for me, especially at such a substantial cost.

I feel like we must have received different pants than everyone else, and maybe we did. Maybe we got a defective pair. I don't know, but when I took these out of the package, I immediately thought I could have possibly done better buying pants at the dollar tree. The fabric feels awful, stiff, and cheap. The fit is just okay, and for 69 dollars, I honestly would never recommend these to anyone. In my opinion, they aren't worth more than 10 dollars, and I've managed to get a lot of nice, comfortable pieces of clothing for that price, so maybe not even that. I feel bad leaving such a poor review, but I would hate for anyone to waste that much money, especially in this economy.
