This is a great coat and actually fit me really well.. I’m 54 of the muscular build and do not like loose fitting clothing. I really like that you can take the hood off and it has multiple pockets for wallet, cell phones, tools, or whatever.

Water rolls and beads well. Feels great. My wife swiped this jacket - she likes it a lot. I do too, so I just order one for me. Generous hood (comfortable). Great pockets - one inner, many outer. Wow. Really nice. It might run a little small - definitely order up sized if you are on the fence on sizing. Upsizing helps with layering too - and it fits well loose or not loose depending on your preference.** UPDATE: Lowering the rating on this to 4 stars. This jacket is NOT waterproof, it is water resistant. I still really like most things about it. It will keep you dry for a decent amount of rain exposure and is a great weight. But I was working out in the rain for over an hour today, and the black parks of the jacket, from shoulder to mid-arm, became damp enough to make my shirt damp underneath them. Then I ended up getting cold from being damp. If you are expecting something that is truly waterproof, this is not the jacket for you.

I got this "Men's Tactical Softshell Jacket Waterproof Windbreaker" to try and I've worn it for the last couple of days. So far I'm happy with the jacket.The jacket is rainproof and windproof, allowing me to wear it on rainy days as long as the temperature is not too low. It comes with plenty of zippered pockets, which is a very neat feature for me. The size also fits as expected.The price is very reasonable for the quality. I'm happy with this jacket and would thus recommend it.

I really liked the look of this jacket which is the main reason I got it. I needed a middle jacket between my heavy and light jackets and this works great for that. My main issue is with the fit as it is too small. I think one size up would have been enough because it is close to fitting well. I still like the look and the pocket options are nice. The weight is perfect for a midsized jacket and it did well during a recent walk in sprinkles. I can highly recommend it if you get the proper size.

I really like this jacket! The fabric easily sheds water, it has nice soft fleece lining and is pretty warm given its relatively light weight. There are ample pockets, the two on the sleeves are very roomy and waterproof. There is a two way zipper, a nice convenience when nature calls and you don't want to completely unzip. The hood is removable but also has two drawstrings; one to tighten around your face and another on the rear to keep it off your face. The sleeves are noticeable for being roomy which is really good to have if you want to layer a sweater under the jacket. The fit in the body is more trim but what I would expect for a size large. The contrasting color panels (mine is green w/ black) are stylish. This is a great multi season outdoor jacket. Given its ability to accommodate layers, it's easy to bulk it up for added warmth. It's a perfect backpacking and hiking jacket and it looks great.

It’s warm but uncomfortable and doesn’t fit all too well.The sleeves are extremely baggy compared to the waist which is pretty slim.I like the zip off hoodie feature but still, not my favorite coat in my closet
