Camping Mosquito Net

This is easy to set up and use if you have enough trees or structures nearby to attach the ropes to. We used this above a picnic table but underneath a canopy tent while camping. There weren't any mosquitos that got in but they spray the campgrounds pretty well. I did get some bites while I wasn't inside the netting. The zippers worked pretty well. This would be fun to put in the yard or over the patio table at our house. The only thing I'd wonder about is how well the roof would stand up to rain, since we had a tent above ours. I'm guessing it would pool and sag, so you might need to dump some water off the top. It doesn't take up much room when you're storing it. A storage case would've been nice but I think it's fine without it at this price point. Overall pretty happy!

My original intent for this was for camping, but it is perfect for hanging out in the backyard whether it is sitting on your patio chairs or doing projects requiring you to do it outside. I live in an area where flies and mosquitos are a pain and this is a lifesaver.

This is a huge white mosquito net with hanging hardware and 2 zippered entrances. When I say huge, I mean larger than a California king. I believe this is supposed to be made for a bed but even so, it's big, which happens to be a great thing if you want to use it in a non-standard way, like I did and turned it into an outdoor area for a camping setup including a hammock. It's the only mosquito in that I've ever had that had two zippers at either end that are double zippers so you can zip from the bottom up to get to the hammock line and have literally no leaks for mosquitoes to get in. I just tested it out in Florida right after torrential rains, and I swear to God not one mosquito got in. Superb. The only reason it doesn't get 5 Stars is it is very light and flimsy and I'm not sure how durable it would be in the long run, but as far as functionality goes it's a 5 Star Item, highly recommended.

I was thinking this was a pop up net tent but you have to hang it… so you have to have something (4 something’s) to tie it to. Not sure when I’ll be able to use this… but it’s a neat idea.

This mosquito net was a lifesaver while camping at the lake! I have a large net that's more difficult to hang up, but this net was easy to hang from our shade tent and saves us from all the biting bugs. The size is prefect for just my husband and I, and two dogs to sit in on calm afternoons. The quality seems good and the zipper was easy to use. I also like that the corner ties make the net quick to take down if the wind kicks up suddenly. Overall I recommend this bug net and think it's good value for the money.

We set this up on our deck for use during the summer; It lasted less than 6 weeks. The material is all very thin (has to be for mosquito nets I guess)... but the tie ups tore off after a few weeks and several holes tore in the screen during set up. It is nice for VERY temporary use - but not extended summer use. We really enjoyed it while it lasted.I liked that it had zipper openings on two sides, as well as two zippers on each side, so you can unzip down and up offering a slit to go through, vs only from the bottom up or visa versa.

I have some reservations about how well this is going to hold up to outdoor use. But I'm hopeful. The zippers seem to be of decent quality, though not overwhelmingly solid. It's nice that it has two zippers, on opposite sides, for easy entrance and exit, and each zipper has multiple pulls, so you can pull down from the top or unzip it completely from the bottom. In terms of the size, you can sort of see from my not-well-staged photo that our four-seater table fits comfortably in here, in this temporary setup, which was my hope, as I find that we don't really eat out side, because we inevitably get a few bees investigating our food and my wife is allergic to bees, so it makes for instant anxiety. This enclosure is pretty lightweight, with a loop on each corner, so I'm planning to use it under the overhang on our patio, so we can have a small outdoor screen room for the occasional meal or for sitting outside when the mosquitoes are active.Overall, the quality seems decent, and the size seems good four four people around a table or for a couple of patio chairs. I'm excited to have this in my repertoire for outdoor activities. And with the included strings, you could even find ways to rig this up when camping, though that would take some ambition to find the right place, but it could happen.

We used this mosquito net on a recent canoe trip to keep our camp table and chairs away from the bugs so that we could cook and eat without being bothered. It did a great job at keeping the mosquitos away and it made through the week long trip undamaged.
