I installed this on my 18x6” fire pit that is rated at 70k BTU. At first the flame had too much yellow for my taste. I live at 7.3k feet elevation so it might not be getting enough air. I like a flame with more blue since I also like to add a grate on top and cook on the fire pit when camping. The solution is to increase the air/fuel ratio. I drilled out one air hole at a time using a 13/16 bit to allow more air into the Venturi, then tested the flame. In the end I drilled out all of the air holes. Now the flame is blue at the first quarter or so of the flame height, with plenty of yellow still for ambiance when I’m using it for warmth.Works great, recommended.
