The knobs on the locking pins interfere with other motor parts at some of the insertion points so there was only one option for the attachment. No real problem. I just did a trip with some big bumpy sections along the road and it did the job.

Its very sturdy metal. Not plastic. Fits perfect on my Mercury 40 hp 4 stroke. Easy to install and I can keep it on when boating instead of taking it off everytime I go out.

This transom saver fits perfectly on my 2024 60hp Merc. Without a doubt it is heavy duty and, by the looks of it, should easily last the life of the motor.

Great fit for my mercury 90hp 4 stroke 2022 motor. Was skeptical but honestly seems very well made. Thick steel and pins seem to operate very smooth and sturdy. Was using the built in support on the motor mount, read my manual says not to use that for trailering. $100 investment to protect a 35k boat transom and 11k motor seems worth it to me much more secure with this much more support as well. Very happy decided to purchase this.

I bought a new Boston Whaler 160 Super Sport with a 90 HP Mercury. The dealer showed me the trim prop on the motor and told me that was for trailering. The Boat manual and the Motor manual both said you should not trailer using the trim prop but should trailer with the motor down unless there is not enough ground clearance. No more guidance than that, so it’s off to the internet. Some “transom savers” require it to lock onto a roller. I have a Bunky trailer, hence no roller. You have the option of putting a bracket on the trail rear cross beam. I have lights at that location. The Uueego Motor Trailering Support solved those problems, was easy to attach, provides adequate ground clearance, and appears to be more than adequate strength wise. Only wish it was not made in China. If it were made in USA I would have been willing to pay more and give it five stars.

In the interests of full disclosure, I bought these knowing I would almost certainly have to modify them, as my 90 Hp motor is not one of the Mercury models it's designed for. After making suitable mods, this works exactly as I'd hoped and should last me for years. I only wish there were models for different configuration outboards ... .
