Previous prop was a direct to spline fit older design. New prop has newer plastic sleeve design to avoid major prop damage from hard strike against a rock or other. Mercury Marine excellent at finding a compatible part number for a 30+ yr old boat.

Great value prop... installed easily and is a great replacement prop at a very reasonable cost... performs great on a 5 liter v8 with a alpha gen w lower... very happy with this prop.

Easy to install and gave my boat great thrust and a better hole shot. I wish the included a different style lock nut. I just used the one from me last propeller.

Started corroding after about 6 months of minimal use. Gets washed with salt away after every use and parked out of water.

Perfectly replaced my damaged old prop. I ordered this prop because it came with all the parts that are required to attach it to the out drive. I only used the new insert hub since the old one was wedged in the old prop. I used the other existing parts since they were still good.

I just received this prop. Fast shipping. One note to buyers. This model is RH and LH rotation. The description only indicates RH. All specs I see from Mercury indicate it is LH as well.
