Merrill MFG Sump Pump Check valve is designed to fit an inlet size of 1-1/4 in. MPT. Will fit an outlet size of either 1-1/4 in. Barb or 1-1/2 in. slip. The full flow design features a flapper valve for reliable performance.

If you need a sump pump check valve (all should be equipped with one to keep water from coming back into sump), and the threaded/barb fittings are the right size for you, this one is a good choice. It's a heavy duty ABS constructed housing and should last a long time with no issues.

This Inexpensive basic flapper works as it should with no visible back flow or leakage.My conditions are clean water/ sporadic use so expect to be good for several yearsEasily screwed into my ½ hp pump Female outlet but required a female x female coupling on my 1/4 hp utility pump which has a male outlet.3 windings of Teflon Tape, 2” screw clamp and 1 ¼ sump pump hose under a 6’ lift worked fine. No LeaksI would certainly use a better quality check valve for more critical situations with long runs/ higher lift/ dirty/ contaminated water connections etc.
