My first purchased metabo was a 4" in1995 in 2015 purchased a 6 ", now 2025 another 6" they are used everyday still going strong, very little issues, best thing is the disc release nut!, no spanner wrench needed

Fantastic tool! Works well. It is heavier than the Milwaukee but also heavier duty. It has a safety feature that if/when it binds it will shut off rather than let the motor continue trying to turn and damaging. Using this as a Steel worker and would confidently use it anywhere. It’s like going from a V6 to a V8.

There's no way this was brand new. I've been a sheet metal worker for 13 years and have used angle grinders forever. The motor was weak right out the box compared to other ones in the shop (same brand and model). Now after only 3 months the motor has already burned up and barely runs and I can't exchange it. Complete waste. Just buy from your local hardware store instead of buying "new" off of here. Rip off!

Have bought this speed unit twice with the same results. Motor arcs out. The units at the slower RPM are still working!
