I have worked with this table saw and it is a very good product. I am happy with it and it has not let me down.

The saw works as long as you only make rip cuts or rip dados (some wrongly call this type cut a grove. It is after all an "English Housing Joint cut". The miter channels might as well not exist, as they are heavily chamfered at the top of the channel towards the table. Plus the table itself is not flat front to back Then on top of all this error the table blade inserts are ramped upward at the end with their own metal insert. Forget installing an Incra miter guage. as the adjustment washers push against the Metabo HPT Channel Chamfer and the metabo miter guage is trash from the get go. I kept this POS as I am only using it for dado rips. The Battery system is the only plus with this saw, throw away the installed blade and buy a glue line rip blade from CMT or Freud. Be careful not to cut you fingers off as these are seriously sharp blades. Your safety is your responsibility!!Cost before any discounts: Retail$157.00 36-120V converter$179.00 Saw Stand$17.90 Dado Insert$193.54 2 36V Battery’s$49.00 Battery Charger$599.00 Saw Act Cost$73.99 Freud Glue line Rip Blade$1,269.43 Then add A Dado set

It's good. It's a full sized saw so it's big.I don't know why some reviews say it won't rip/cut certain things, it's got plenty of power but here's the problems:The fence is garbage. The rack and pinion deal is fine but the actual fence, with whatever dumb flip over contraption it has on it is almost impossible to adjust straight, the "flip" function hits the table so it's hard to move around, and there's a gap enough under the fence for certain things to get up underneath it and jam in the blade (danger Will Robinson)But here's the dumbest part:If you somehow manage to bog the blade down until it shuts down, when you go to pull the material back, the blade will ACTUALLY RESTART!!!THIS IS INSANELY DANGEROUS WTF WERE YOU THINKING???!!!Saw should be recalled before someone murders themselves.Otherwise it's a great saw. Lol.

I love Metabo, but you'll want to pass on this one. Even plugged it with the adapter, it just can't keep up. Waste of money unfortunately.
Falls short on power even with plug in adapter

This thing cannot rip an 8 ft 2x4 without the battery overheating which shuts down the motor. Tried to cut smaller pieces but the same thing happened. It would cut the first piece and thermal on the second piece. I love the rest of my metabo tools but this one is really useless as a table saw. It works slightly better with the 110 adapter but still overheats and stops the motor. Metabo said that this is normal. Maybe it is normal but of not much use in terms of functional usability.
