This literally was the worse box of framing nails I have ever encountered. I received a plain brown shipping box with a taped on Metabo labor that was ripped off the actual Metabo box. All the collated nails were simple tossed in the box in what appear to be the leftovers from other boxes. As you can image, with the brown box being too big and the nails being just tossed in…there’s a ton or room for the nails to move around and yep, all the nail strips were unusable. Literally every single nail strip required me to cut out several nails that had be twisted or half broken, so they would be usable in a nail gun. When I looked down at the waste pile, nearly 1/3 of all the nails were trash as there wasn’t enough nails on the strip to be usable. I suspect that these nails were very old, for the plastic connector had turned to a dull light brown or beige color with some areas being even darker brown. New Metabo Hot Dipped nails come with “white” plastic connectors not beige. Heck, even the image on the website shows the connectors being white. I ended up having a ton of jams in my nail gun due to the plastic pieces breaking just before they were loaded in the head.
