The back of this is not flat but curved. A single screw holds it to the wall with a hanger that has the product sticking out about 3/8" from the wall. With a single screw the whole thing is a wobbly mess. Swings back and forth like a pendulum when placing material in or out of it. The product itself is very thin sheet metalthat is .015" thick, and spot welded together. I would have preferred something a little more solid and stable than this blow in the wind thing. Pictures are deceiving as far as what you actually get.

This was such a nice touch to my command center. This mail holder puffs out a bit and holds several envelops. For us, it holds that current weeks mail for us to review. Each week we move the mail and sort it out to trash, recycle or pay. We have never over stuffed so the space provided works pretty well. I love the metal has a matte finish so its not too shiny and fits in with my modern farmhouse décor.

You need a small nail on the wall wont work with a command strip

The metal is kinda flimsy which makes it hard to hang straight bc it can become lopsided with maneuvering.
