Put this on 3S Typhon. Worked at first but when time came to replace the pads, standard slipper clutch pads do not fit on it. Pretty major oversight. To their credit they sent me another set. Also this spur gear will chew up your pinion gear over time. There's a reason the original is plastic.

I purchased this as a replacement for my stock gear. I like the fact it is metal. I put this in my armma typhon 3s blx and it fits like a glove. My second battery in, I took a small jump and upon landing.... well now I have to replace the rear diff lol. Partially my fault, agreed. (Forgot to release the throttle before landing) But I've done this same jump several times with the stock gear.... no issues. With that said, be aware that this thing is rigid. I believe the plastic gear took the stress a little better. I'm pretty new in the hobby so don't let my word be the deciding factor lol

Used this to repair the slipper clutch in my Arrma Typhon 3s blx, fit perfectly. Matched up perfectly and everything just came together. It's the same size as OEM and the exact same so it works great. Easy to install and the new plastic plates help the clutch work much smoother. Overall a great find and exactly what I needed.

The spur gear definitely beefs up the plastic spur gear just be careful that it will now blow up other stuff like diffs! Works on many different models.

It's wider, so it has a better contact with the pinion gear. The downside is, it weighs 49 grams compared to the ARRMA steel one which weighs 29 grams. It does soften the initial punch but also extends coasting because of flywheel effect. All in all, a good trade off.
