The locking tuners has a mechanical type locking system that can be used on any guitar, including non-tremolo or acoustic. Upgrade your tuners and improve the tuning accuracy and stability of your guitars.
These are sealed locking tuners (machine heads). Fits for modern standard 10mm (0.39inches) peg holes.
They are a 1:18 gear ratio for smooth turning. Locking tuners are in our experience great for providing maximum tuning stability.

2nd was as GOOD AS THE FIRST SET. I tested the tuners, they are heavy, & move smoothly. I checked the locking mechanism, they all seem in order and working well. So far so good. 3rd Order; they must have taken some ride during shipping. 4 were so loose they were almost in parts. I'm handy amd I tightened them up. Installed on the guitar and all is well. The average Joe might have sent the 3rd set back. Overall all 3 sets preform well.

Mine were sent to my house without the screws washers and the or the bolts that connect the tuners to the washers. Fortunately I had some spare ones and I needed to get these fast so I cant return them. But other than that they are quality tuners.

Absolutely love theses tuners. Fit ideally into a Fender Sonoran. Help keep guitar in tune much better than stock tuners.

These locking tuners were easy to install and operate more smoothly than the set of nonlocking tuners they replaced. They seem decent quality for the money.

| am requesting the replacement of one tuning gear from my set ordered.Two gears were duds and failed to lock, I tried everything but string just slips out. Amazon has been great to me except this item.Thank You Richard Oram

Very good tuners helped my guitar out quite a bit staying in tune. Had to drill out the original holes because the cheap ones alway tend to be smaller

Received in a timely manner. No missing parts.Somewhat disappointed though that the locking feature only works on the three larger strings.The thinner strings slip down in the opening between the post that does the locking and the edge of the opening that the strings go through.It appears that the opening is too large to actually trap the thinner strings properly or the post is too small.Debating whether to return the set or modify the post and/or opening.Maybe a small metal shim is the answer. Not sure if I want to try a thicker set of strings.I really shouldn't have to ponder these things. :(

I used these to replace the factory tuners on a Squire Affinity Telecaster. It was an easy, drop-in replacement with the exception of having to drill holes for the screws, which is no big dealThe Good: in addition to the ease of installation, these are quite functional. They lock the string in tight and make re-stringing the guitar a lot easier. So far, tuning seems to be stable. The work as you would expect them toThe Not So Good: there is a lot of variation from tuner to tuner in terms of how much effort it takes to turn them. I would prefer more consistent performance. One of them feels a little gritty, as if it weren't machined very well. These are more minor irritations than problems. Given the price, the irritation is more than worth it.Bottom Line: these are a good value and an easy and effective upgrade for low-end Squire guitars and other Strat/Tele knock-offs. Well worth the money, but I won't be using them on my higher-end guitars.

These are great. Direct drop in for many common tuner styles. Don’t expect 100+ dollar quality but there’s nothing wrong with them.
