Perfect radio wire harness fit for my Mitsubishi Montero XLS. My OEM radio stopped working and had to buy an aftermarket radio unit. This wire harness helped that I didn't need to cut the existing car harness to fit the new aftermarket radio. The wire harness colors were about spot on match with the new radio wires and were easy to connect colors together. Afterwards, I easily connected the new radio to the existing car harness and everything worked.

For my fellow CP9A owners looking to replace the 20+ year old JDM mini-disc player that came along with your car, this adapter is the one you want.

Installed in my 02 Lancer. Harness does not come with ground cable though, which was a little frustrating. Don’t forget to ground it before installing!

It works well enough but it doesn't include the RCA looking cables that connect to the external amplifier. More my mistake than anything.

This adapter is the best you can get for the price. I made the mistake of getting one in Canadian Tire and it was bulky and a lot more expensive, like 24$ or something like that. Didn't work nicely in the install I was doing due to the size so in the end I ordered 2 of these just in case I made a mistake and I saved a lot of money and perfectly happy with the result.

Purchased this because was upgrading to a Double Din in my 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse and i didn't want to cut off the factory radio harness and wanted to purchase a connector that plugs into the factory radio harness. There is two different ones a female and male. The one that is factory is a male and this one is a female that plugs into the factory radio harness. It fits perfectly and couldn't ask for anything more for the price as it is fantastic. The wire that is supplied in the harness is heavy duty gauge wiring (maybe 12 or 16) but is solidly built if you know what i mean. *The wiring colors do not exact match the factory colors but everything is the same.* Fantastic purchase and couldn't ask for anything better. If anyone is wondering the wiring colors and what there are for before purchasing, they are below:12V Ignition/ACC - RED12V Battery/Memory - YellowGround - BlackPower Antenna - BlueAmp Turn-On - Blue/WhiteAmp Gound - Black/WhiteIllumination - OrangeDimmer - Orange/WhitePhone Mute - BrownRight Front (+) - GrayRight Front (-) - Gray/BlackLeft Front (+) -WhiteLeft Front (-) - White/BlackRight Rear (+) VioletRight Rear (-) - Violet/BlackLeft Rear (+) - GreenLeft Rear (-) - Green/Black

The adapter was exactly what I needed to install a new stereo in my 2002 Mitsubishi Galant. It was a correct fit and worked on the first try. I have never installed a car stereo before, so I was pleased at how easy it was. This wiring harness plugs into the car (more precisely, the plug inside the dashboard which goes to the car), and the wire ends attach to the wire ends of the new car stereo. Color coding is standardized for the wires, so I just had to connect all the wires to the corresponding wire ends on the plug that came with the new stereo. To connect the stripped wire ends, I used crimp connectors and a crimping tool. Other options include twisting the wire ends together and covering with electrical tape, or using twist-on wire caps. But I think the crimp connectors are probably the easiest and most reliable way of doing it.
