Used these to chase some slightly damaged threads. I might be hesitant to use these for cutting new threads but the tap and die did the job to meet my needs.I’m not sure if one tap is supposed to be a bottoming tap but the starter cutting threads are different on both taps and neither are true bottoming taps.It would be good if they packaged them better by protecting the threads instead of throwing all 3 items in one plastic baggie.

Bought these to tap a single 10x1.5mm hole and thread a 1" long shaft. I had to go up one drill size and reduce the shaft diameter about .020" to get the tap and die to bite. They technically formed functioning threads, however they're so loose my confidence in the strength and durability of the threads is not very high.... I will definitely not be purchasing these again and would recommend a higher quality set.

Love them! 2013 Cooper will lug bolt across threaded. This fixed the problem. Thanks for the fast shipping.
