These pans are fire for separating mealworms by size. And the size markings on the inside and outside are also super helpful for grabbing the right pan.

The medium pan sifter is perfect for sifting out my medium-sized mealworms. It's so easy to use and saves me a ton of time. The “2nd Gen” design is definitely an improvement, making the sifting process is much faster and more efficient. I'm really happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to any mealworm farmer.

I bought the large, medium and small pans so I could separate out my mealworms by size. They do a great job. One thing I will say is it’s better to use wheat bran as your food substrate instead of oats or anything “thick” like that. When you use wheat bran, the flakes easily fall through the slots to the next level. But I could see someone having issues when using oats. I buy my wheat bran online and they deliver in bulk so I always have some on hand. I think you can buy them in 25 lb bags (which will fill up a 50 gallon pet food container perfectly). In any event, these pans are great!
