Worthless. Flare fitting threads are not sized correctly, fitting on regulator will not seal to the valve.

This product is a needle valve for metering propane gas into most small propane cooking appliances. It uses a 3/8” male flare fitting for attachment to a standard propane hose connection. The orifice size is 0.047” in diameter, but if more gas flow it needed, this opening may be enlarged using the appropriately sized drill. (Drill carefully, Gentlemen.)This product is supplied with a standard air damper and spring for proper installation in most propane burners. I have tried this valve on both a round banjo-style burner and a round V-style burner using propane and both worked perfectly. Neither of these cookers came equipped with an orifice valve and both were controlled exclusively with the 0 to 20 PSI adjustable regulator. The addition of the orifice valve allows for very precise control of the burner flame with no reduction in heat-producing capability. The air damper must be properly adjusted prior to actual use to ensure that the air to gas mixture is proper adjusted. There should be no yellow flames and the flame must be smoothly flowing and blue (only blue) in a properly adjusted flame.This valve works very well. I think it should be included on all propane cookers so that the flame may be properly and precisely adjusted. That said, I will be using this on my round banjo-style burner. Thanks for a quality product.
