ā¤ļø Iām super happy. Now I buy everything on Amazon. These wire connectors are made good. Their thick. Easy to use. What else can I say? Yeah, I would do it again and I think you should do it too. š

I bought these to hook some small solar panels to some batteries on our boat to keep the batteries topped off. I wanted something easy to disconnect that kept the polarity right so that I could not accidentally hook it up backwards. These seem to be pretty high quality and work as I would expect. Time will tell how well they will hold up in the elements and sun, but so far, I like them.

This is a true #10 wire disconnect with a heavy, good quality jacket and plugs. I Currently have them installed on my RV's macerator pump (12v 15a) and in between the battery pack to controller on my Ebike kit ( 1200w 48v 20ah) and everything stays cool as a cucumber. A little tip, make sure you use the shielded positive (red wire) plug on your supply side, or your new nickname will be "sparky" every time your equipment is disconnected...

They work well, I found the gauge to be a little thick. But I managed to set up several trickle chargers for winter

First I would like to establish my credentials: I have certifications from the FCC for General Radio Telephone Operators license and a Radar Endorsement. I retired from a career working on Avionics, Instruments, and Flight Computers. I mention the foregoing only because my review is going to be counter to what others are saying about these connectors. They are great! They are light duty, 20 gauge wire with a working amperage of only 1.5 amps. The other reviews claimed the wires pulled out easily. If that was a problem, the manufacturer has corrected it. I tugged on every wire, none came loose. One review faulted these connectors for being crimped and not soldered. Aircraft use crimped connectors all the time. A properly formed crimp connection is as good as any in most applications. If that were not so they would not be approved by the FAA.So why did I only give 4-stars? The product description was vague claiming 16-20 gauge. If it weren't for that I could have easily given it 5-stars.Just be aware that these are limited to 1.5 amps or less and you'll be fine.

These "extensions" daisy chain and change the plug polarity while maintaining the electrical ploarity. For my purpose, this was exactly what I needed, cutting the wires and using the straight and reversed plugs as needed. The plug plastic is high quality and slightly flexible, seating fully and securely with strong finger force, and while not water tight, snug and resilient enough to be weather resistant and semipermanent. The 10 gauge wire is a fine, multi-stranded, bright copper, and covered with tough, serviceable plastic. These "harnesses" are high quality in every respect and indeed do merit the description of "Heavy Duty." The prongs and sockets are sturdy and nicely plated, embedded solidly in ergonomically designed endcaps, and as one would expect from a first rate harness, exhibit no measureable resistance with a Fluke VOM.I have cut and soldered my harnesses to fit my custom use and they have proven to be flawless in materials, design and construction. I would buy these again without hesitation.
