Nicely black powder-coated weights. They fit my weight bar and add just the right amount of weight for our workout. My wife can use them without the bar due to their size which is 3 inch diameter and 3/4 inch thick.

If you want to gain muscle then you need these. Sure, any beginner can make gains increasing weights by the standard (weight sets) amount of 1.25 and 2.5 pounds on each side per increase, but not for long. in fact only for a short time. For real gains over the long haul you need to increase by less. Once the trainee has reached the point where they can perform their work set(s) IN PERFECT FORM close to real failure (always leave a rep or 2 "death reps" or "gun to the head rep(s)" in the bag unless you want to burn out quickly and need several weeks to recuperate, then you need to increase by as little .25 on each side of the bar at a time.Everyone knows that progression is the key to weight training. So when you can handle your work set(s) for the programmed reps PROPERLY (With one of 2 absolute failure reps left in the tank---otherwise you won't gain longterm), then you can add:2.5LB for deadlifts and squats. 1LB for rows, chins or pulldowns. .5 for bb curls. And even .5 for presses when the going gets tough.I challenge anyone to continue to add weight to the bar and consistently progresss for a year or two (the time it takes to get some good gains. It's the only way to train.

My Inspire FT2 has plates that are about 10 lbs each, and a 5 lb add-on. But as a woman, sometimes adding 5 lbs is just too much. I contacted Inspire to see what they recommended, and they had no suggestions. So I searched and searched on Amazon for a solution. There are a couple potential items, but I really didn't want to pay a fortune. Finally I found this Micro Gainz weight set. They are 3 inches in diameter which is perfect to set on top of the flat round plate that is above the pully system. Almost like it was designed for it! They seem quite solid and have a very nice black paint coat that, upon receipt, seems sturdy and like it will last. This is just great because now i can add 1.25 lb increments and get the most out of my workout. Thanks Micro Gainz... maybe you could contact Inspire and team up with them!

Husband brought it. It's heavy and he uses it. No complaints from him so I guess it is good!

These things are perfect for my needs, I'm a older lifter and the usual five plus jumps can cause some joint issues so like I said perfect for what I wanted

I had no idea you could buy 1lb weight plates and these Micro Gainz Standard 1-Inch Center Hole 1LB Fractional Weight Plates are perfect! I was expected them to be as big as regular plate but they're small and immediately feel the added weight. Just ordered another set - love them.

This very small weight was going to be used with a wrist / forearm bar in a hand therapy clinic as a rehabilitative exercise. The hole in the weight is slightly smaller than a traditional iron weight which made is useless. It was returned.

These are just weight the doctor ordered fo me. I am able to increase in smaller increments and then go to the next stage. I ordered more as they had a bundle available in different increments and could not be happier. Fast shipping and "MADE IN AMERICA"

They are accurate in terms of weight and fit the 1" bar snugly. Very happy. Bought a second pair.
