An excellent conductor of electricity, this powder is used in the manufacture of conductive materials and coatings. Should not be used in ignition switches or other electrically actuated locks.

the box and bottle were a mess from this bottle leaking in shipping so wear your latex gloves and store it in a ziplock bag in between usage. It is the best value I've found so far for dry graphite lubricant.

There is not much more to say in describing graphite powder. It is graphite powder. Some people use it in art, I use it in my wood shop and for household stuff. For me, it is great for 'lubricating' metal to metal surfaces where an oily alternative would tend to accumulate wood dust, and to keep bolts from seizing or galling when torqued. Personally, I normally prefer to use this stuff 'wet'; I mix a small bit of the powder with a little isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, paint it onto a bolt, and let it dry before installing.Whatever the purpose, this order was exactly as I expected--no clumps, no foreign material, no problems. Good plastic container that is easy to open and shut. So I am pleased with the product, and there is not much else to say.

This is a large container of very fine graphite. I bought it to lubricate my powder measure (for reloading). It works very well for that. It also eliminates the static cling that holds specks of powder to the passages in the measure. This is unquestionably a lifetime supply of graphite. I had to order this item twice before one actually got through. The lid was not screwed on so the insides of the box and plastic bag were full of spilled graphite. I will be looking for new applications for graphite.

I used this to "season" my Hornady Lock and load powder dispenser and it did everything I could have wanted. I first cleaned the powder dispenser with a degreaser to remove the factory anti rust oil and then took this powder and filled up the hopper and ran it through back into the container the graphite came in.The result is my new powder dispenser looks dirty as hell but now it works like it is supposed to and now I do not have problems with gun powder sticking at all and as a result my charges are more accurate (within .1 grains) when before I could have throws that could be .3 grains off almost every throw. It is not perfect but it is within the acceptable range of accuracy imo. This graphite has the consistency of powdered sugar or flour and it will leak out from places on your powder dispenser where you never thought it would so I recommend doing this either somewhere where cleanup will be easy or better yet do this outside because it can most likely be very messy.

The product is as described in the listing. I went to use for the first time and accidentally spilled it all over my floor. Thankfully it was white tile and not carpet so it was semi easy to clean but it took me a good 30-45 mins to clean up. This graphite is VERY VERY fine (I should know). Also, it wouldn't hurt to wear a face mask that could protect you from inhaling it since this is so fine.Other than that, the product itself is good quality and I shouldn’t have to purchase this again. There’s a lot of graphite in this can at an affordable price.

This stuff would like to escape and make a huge mess. I use it for shading in my drawings and it is a cheaper alternative than the small expensive bottles sold in art stores. If you want to use a bulk product like this though, consider using a small container for everyday use.

This works like a charm. I can confirm that it is very fine powder. I use to make conductive paint to shied my guitar with. Recipe I used was 2 parts graphite powder, 2 parts latex acrylic paint, and one part water. A little bit goes a long way.
