I've had this for a couple weeks and it makes a lot of noise already.

I needed the power brick for Xbox one and found it on Amazon at a reasonable price for original parts. But when it reached me ? It looked great , packaged well, and I was sure I was happy about spending the extra money I got out my Xbox to hook everything up and play . My first question…. How can they send parts for Xbox one , and the parts won’t hook up to the main console? The actual connector on the cord that runs from the console to the power pack , does not fit! The hole alignment in the adaptor isn’t the same as the Xbox! Maybe it’s me , but when you can’t supply correct parts to fit your own product ? Something is terribly wrong. So if your reading this, and you need the power brick for Xbox one with both cables ? You can make it work . On your old power brick ? Disconnect the only cord that is removable from the brick .. That’s the cord in question. Use your old one to hook up your Xbox to the new power brick and that resolves the problem. As for the newer cord you’ve now replaced ? Maybe you can send it to the manufacturer for a refund on that part? Maybe ? ….. Happy Gaming Guys!!

As I assume a lot of people are, I was skeptical about products that didn’t come straight from the original manufacturer. It works perfectly. At least there isn’t anything to complain about. And as I see from the other reviews, they were complaining about the noise/sound it makes. As far as I’ve used it, I didn’t notice anything. Maybe it’s just that my environment is louder than it is, but yes.

I bought this to replace my power brick that didn't work right ( would work but wouldn't play games for more then 5 min). Did some homework and found this one. After a couple of months it works like the one that came with xbox one. Doesn't run any louder or have overheating problems. Weird thing was all the xbox logos and microsoft print on the unit had tape over them. 1 bad thing is the cable from the brick to the outlet is shorter the original. I would buy this again.

If you need a new power brick I highly recommend this product. After reading reviews of after-market Xbox One Power Bricks offered by other sellers that said to have overheating issues or failing after a short time I was leery of not buying one from Microsoft. Unfortunately a game Beta that was about to open was too near to wait for a unit from Microsoft and a unit with 2-day delivery was my only option.Being made in the U.S., or at least from a company based in the U.S., I felt reassured that if there were to be an issue I might actually be offered a resolution. Now to finally get to the product...this unit performs perfectly. Because of the reviews of the other units overheating I frequently placed my hand on it to check if it was hot and it felt no warmer than the original unit did. I have had this unit for a few weeks with no issues, my Xbox gets many hours of use a day not only for gaming but for streaming video services.

Oh! The love-hate relationship I have with Microsoft Xbox consoles. The Xbox is the best (IMO) and has my favorite exclusives, but always requires at least one "period of maintenance" due to unforeseen hardware issues. Last generation, I was treated to the red rings of death. This time, I was experiencing the typical Power Block problems. So, instead of sending-in and waiting two weeks for Microsoft to fix my system (a.k.a. clean out dust and replace Power Block), I went the third-party supplier route. I was worried that cheaper, alternative versions of this product would fail based on a few select product reviews seen elsewhere on Amazon. So, I purchased this specific product from Dynamic Labs since it had the highest rating. After 3 days of heavy gameplay in both local system and multiplayer online game formats, my Xbox is running great! It no longer shuts off when I try to startup games. No more 50/50 chance of powering off whenever I launch party chat functions. I'll update if the situation changes, but I highly recommend spending the extra $20 for Dynamic Labs Premium Certified Xbox One Power Supply.

I received mine today and it is nearly identical to the original one that came with my Xbox One. I had to replace mine because my system kept shutting down shortly after power on, and this appears to work fine as a replacement. My only complaint is the fan noise. It is not nearly loud enough to be frustrating (at normal game/movie/music volume, you probably won't even hear it, but in a quiet room, it's noticeable), but for $50, I don't think it's asking too much to use a higher quality fan like what was in the original (I didn't even know the original power brick had a fan until I tore it apart the other day to see if I could determine why it was quitting and if I could fix it).
