Not sure if it was because it refurbished or if that's all that this device can do.But I ended up getting rid of it, and would never try another surface again.For the price, I'd recommend sticking to some better laptops and forget the 2in1 concept. It's a gimmick and doesn't work as well.When your mother (microsoft) and father (microsoft) share the same last name from birth, you get a surface pro refurbished.

I use this for school (about eight hours) I have a low batter or dead by the end. The charger it came with though does sometimes doesn’t charge despite being lit up. The device itself is good, Its not slow or lags. The touch screen and size works almost like an Ipad. But imo better.

This was my first time buying a refurbished product, and I have to say, I am amazed by the quality. The Surface Pro 9 arrived in excellent condition, with no scratches or defects. It genuinely looks and feels like new, which exceeded my expectations for a refurbished device. I’m absolutely happy with this purchase!As a student, the Surface Pro 9 has proven to be a solid investment. I frequently draw and memorize schematics and do a lot of note-taking, and this device handles everything smoothly. OneNote is fantastic for organizing my notes and sketches, making my study sessions much more efficient.One thing to note, though, is that the keyboard and Slim Pen have to be purchased separately. Initially, this felt like a downside, but after using them, I can confidently say they are worth the extra cost. Both the keyboard and Slim Pen are excellent additions to the Surface Pro 9, enhancing its functionality and making it a complete package for both studying and creative work.Overall, I'm thrilled with the Surface Pro 9 and highly recommend it, especially if you're looking for a versatile device for academic or creative purposes. I'll update this review in a month or so to share more about my long-term experience!TLDR: First time buying refurbished, and the Surface Pro 9 exceeded my expectations—looks new with no defects. Great for students and note-taking, but be prepared to buy the keyboard and Slim Pen separately. Totally worth it, though! Will update later.

I purchased this refurbished product against my better judgement and I am now regretting it. The surface gets extremely hot when I can get it to stay on longer than two minutes. I turn on the machine, it boots up and then shuts down. I have to do that a couple times to get it to work. I have updated the software, it has helped a bit but it is extremely hot constantly. Seeing that I am currently outside of the US, it is difficult for me to return the item. I will not buy a refurbished product again.

Came in factory box and all the accessories were the factory ones too!! My main use for it is for programming vehicles both manufacturers reflashing or aftermarket tuning. And it works great, plenty of power and battery life is awesome.

I did not like the fact the information on the tablet stated it had a SIM card slot and it did not. I am trying a Dongle. I had never heard of them but they allow you to put a SIM card into the Surface Pro and use it to connect. It is a USB so I had to get a USB hub to connect to the USBC port, however now I can use that for a number of things.

This computer failed after 20 hours of use and Amazon won't refund my money because it is out of the 30-day return window. What a huge waste of money and a huge disappointment with Amazon! It is a waste of your money! I bought it or my photo booth company and used it for less than 20 hours. I know this because I only use it for events and that's how many hours I worked events in that time period. That was over a few months so the return window had closed. There'a weird "boot configuration file" corruption of sone sort that popped up and stopped everything and there's no way to get out of it. This seems to be a known problem- the Best Buy guy knew about it when I went in to buy another Surface Pro because I needed a replacement immediately, and it's all over the Internet if you search for it. It will come back on and work for a bit after being turned off for a time but then the same thing happens and you're stuck in the spiral and the computer is usable. Amazon is not standing by their A-Z guarantee policy and I am out $750 unless I want to spend time and money trying to get this issue fixed. Don't waste your money on this " renewed" product and end up with a big problem.
