Cost effective, low profile solution. Just what I was looking for to connect my pedalboard MIDI devices. The Mellbree cables are the best short run solution. However, a 3′ Max with thin cabling make them unsuitable for long runs. You can get the Serounder 9.8″ extension. Or the Hosa MDR110 (10′ long). The total length is about 3′ shorter the the extension solution, but there’s only one cable now. However the protruding part of the connector is about ¼″ longer. Best solution, if you have the room. Low profile connector that's angled which is great if your keyboard or other MIDI instrument is close to a wall or the back of an enclosed rack. These aren't cheap quality but they aren't super thick either so I'd use these mostly for studio or as semi permanent rack setups that aren't changed a lot. I haven't had a cable fail, but there just isn't a lot of strain relief or protection for the small wires inside. No issues with data transmission, SYSEX works fine, etc. Good cables, and they are angled perfectly so you can plug 2 of these next to each other without them getting in the way of the other. No issues, I'm pretty happy with these unique MIDI cables.

Though they are thin they are very well made and accommodate stationary setups best. I connected a set on my three tier keyboard setup and had zero issues controlling keyboards. Their right angle does not stress the cable like the straight one I had and I can move the setup close to the wall. My power cables are also right angle so together with these cables I don’t have to keep reseating the connections. For the quality and price these cables are great!

I'm using these with my Microfreak. They seem to be working perfectly. The cable part itself seems really thin compared to other similar cables I've used in the past, but I'm not noticing any signal degradation or interference, so I think it's all good. Especially considering that these will remain plugged in and will rarely be messed with, so I'm not too worried about wear and tear in my particular situation.

I’m using these cables to connect my Arturia Microfreak to a USB/MIDI breakout box with my DAW. The cables work flawlessly, allowing me to send and receive signal with no issue.I do wish MIDI TRS cables were better about noting which standard (Type-A or Type-B) they’re compatible with. In this case, it’s working with Type-A equipment, and probably won’t function with Type-B. Do double-check your equipment’s manual and make sure you’re getting the right flavor of TRS. This specific product is labeled with a red ring, and the similar products that I use for Type-B are labeled in Blue. Unfortunately, this is not any sort of industry standard, and can lead to a lot of confusion. As others mentioned, the cables are very thin, and the length is appropriate for my desktop setup.

These are some of the thinnest MIDI cables I have ever seen. I would worry about taking these on the road because they are so thin, but if you are using them for a home setup or something you will be setting up with care, they do quite well. At 2 feet, they also aren't likely to be on the floor or create a trip hazard or anything, either. They carry the data as they should with no particular issues. I like the 90 degree turn heads, which keep things neat and tidy, and are helpful in cramped spaces (or I expect, for desktop units and video shooting). They insert into jacks at a 45 degree angle, which can make insertion a tad tricky on rear-mounted MIDI ports, but that does help to get keep them out of the way, as well. Overall, these are nicely designed light duty MIDI cables.

These are very nice, with 45 degree low profile plugs, thin cable and 2 foot length make for nice looking and practical MIDI cables.
