No way should this have anywhere near 5 starsThe sensitivity is so bad. You have to smack it to really get full notes on pads. If you can finger tap beats, try finger tapping quick beats right now on your desk but as hard as you can. That is how it will be when playing on this.The piano keys are better than the pads but not good enough. I found myself using the piano keys rather than the pads for drums. Which you can get a better piano midi for $30.If anyone gives this a good review, they just simply don't know what a midi is supposed to be like. For $20 more you can get an Akai on sale or a Nekktar or M-Wave on sale.I tried to like this. I even downloaded the software (Which is horrendous and heavily outdated), learned it and tried tuning it to make up for it's shortcomings. Didn't help.

Cord provided is far to short. You have to go online to get programing. If they charge for this I will return it. Already had to spend $40 to get a cord extension.

The keys aren’t super smooth, I still get really good use out of it though. Overall I think it’s a good product.

I didn't realize exactly what a mini is... it's more involved than what I originally thought... Have to purchase a better laptop to get some use out of it... It's for my 10yr old also.
