I needed 2 of these for installing 2 new water heaters, and these were a far better price than the similar valves at the local hardware stores.The double O-ring is probably a nice feature, too, as an additional insurance against a leak, although I have never had an issue with ProPress fittings with a single O-ring.These valves installed and crimped just as well as the more expensive name brand fittings I have used before.

Worked really well for water system install as a first time user of ProPress. I'd been looking at my local stores but wasn't happy with the options there, until I finally thought of checking Amazon. Not sure why they don't carry these at HD/Lowe's...

Valve works alright but you can get it elsewhere for about half the price.

What a great value!!!My plumber wanted $450 to cut in a new Ball Valve.I did it on my own in about 20 minutes using this high quality valve.It was the same unit that my plumber wanted to use.I spent a few $$ for a copper pipe cutter, cut the pipe, cleaned the pipe, drained the system and crimped in the new valve.It crimped easy and very made a very tight, water proof seal.I highly recommend Midline Valves and Connectors for your DIY project.
