I have a St. Bernard and a bulldog I bought this vacuum, hoping it would last the life of my dogs. This is not the case. It lasted less than nine months. The dog fur just choked it I guess. I was constantly changing filters and bags, and it still died. One day I changed a bag, and it has never powered up again. I carefully disassembled it and reassembled, my husband and son in law also took a crack at it, never has powered back up. Save your money, buy a cheap vacuum and know you will be replacing it. This was the most expensive vacuum i have ever bought and it was a waste of money. I am severely disappointed in this purchase.

I have three long haired dachshunds, a doodle and two cats. I had a Dyson ball Animal vacuum that I thought that I was happy with, until a friend recommended THIS! I am beyond impressed. The price gave me serious thought, but I cannot rave enough about this fabulous machine.

Weight of handle is too heavy, exhausted before floors are finished. Handle circumference is too wide. Need to wear gloves to protect hand from blisters.

Bought the Amelie Complete C3 Cat and Dog Canister 1/14/22. The second time my cleaning lady uses it the front clip on the hose broke off. I called Meile support 4 times. After being on hold a short time agent came on. I didn’t catch her name and when I asked for her name she simply hung up. I called three more times went through the list of questions and it rang two time and the line went dead. Not sure what’s going on if the agent blocked my number simply for simply asking what her name was to document the call. Having spent $1,300 on a vacuum I would have expected better client service. I regret having paid a premium for a vacuum cleaner that broke within 2 uses and then an unable to get any customer service help.

This vacuum has pulled up dirt from my carpet that has been there since I bought my house—15 years ago. I have destroyed so many vacuums, which is on me, and I’m saving that fifth star to see if this beast can handle me.Really, though, it probably is worth the price, which is insane. It is an amazing cleaning device and the way it’s built is highly convenient. They also give you about a couple years worth of new bags when you buy it, so no worries there. It also looks like if the suction devices die an untimely death, those can be replaced and you still have the main motor. You don’t need to replace the entire vacuum. It has five settings and the main device is far from flimsy so you won’t lose the ability to have multiple settings because it easily breaks.
