I use this battery for my trolling motor. It has been used many times and recharged without any issues.

The first battery did not hold the charge but we were sent another right away.

Bought this for a 4 person blow up raft. It worked great but is very heavy.

Went out for 4hrs on my canoe fishing with this for a trolling motor. Barely used any power with it and seemed to power the motor better than the other battery I had. Worth the extra wait. Can’t wait for the future fishing trips with my girls and this battery powering the trolling motor.

Batteries just fine. Don’t take it right out of the box and use it or you’re gonna be disappointed. You have to put it on a trickle charge until it’s 100%. And I would definitely recommend their recommendation of not taking it below 25%. This is not off the cuff advice, I’m 58 and my daddy was a mechanic so I know the drill. JTP

The battery came nearly fully charged (there was some discharge from being off charger, but nothing significant). It powered my 36lb thrust trolling motor roughly 4 hours at full power - pushing a 13' fully loaded fishing kayak with 15-20mph winds, and 4' - 5' waves. I wish my adult diapers worked as good as this power cube. The battery box says that there is still over half a charge left. That's pretty impressive for the price. I'd buy it again and suggest it to a friend.

I had this battery in a Newport Vessels Trolling Motor Smart Battery Box Power Center (which I HIGHLY recommend), and despite capsizing twice in a tandem kayak designed for WAY less than its rated capacity, each time with the battery box and battery sinking to the sandy bottom of a crystal clear water river, and each time the battery box filling with water, the battery held its charge much better than expected and came within .2 of a mile of getting us 5.8 miles upstream against a 5 mph river water flow, on a kayak that had only about 1 1/2 inches of freeboard. (and yes, I know it was stupid, but we traveled a long way for the trip, and it was still fun)

I bought this for my kayak for which I have built a transom to add a trolling motor (I will often go out for a long 3-4 hours day and like to be able to add some motor power). The motor is a Newport electric motor with 35 lb. thrust capability. I have used that motor at highest speeds for about 1 1/2 hours often pulling a tethered kayak and the battery has only dropped from 13.2 to 12. 2 volts. (they recommend to not go below 11 volts) However, it is heavy!! At first I had it placed behind me, but between my weight and adding battery weight to the back in addition to the weight of the motor, I only had about 1 inch leeway before the kayak would have gone under. I now place the battery in front of me and it fits perfectly between my legs as they are spread to the footholds in the kayak.
