I'd expect a phone case to you know, fit the phone? :/ it doesn't even fit my phone, it's just slightly, inconveniently, a bit too big. my camera is cover in half and so is my flash light

Aftet putting the case in a pool at 5 ft for 2 minutes, the case leaked. There was about a tablespoon of water inside the case.

Update: this case is The Bomb! I left my phone accidentally on the open bed of a tow truck. It flew off the truck when traveling approx 60 mph ( i tracked it down later w Find Phone, on the side of the freeway.) NOTHING HAPPENED! The phone is 100% intact! Not a scratch or ding anywhere. Thanks to this phone case! ...you can't ask for better than that.Initial review: All in all, a good case. I have already dropped my phone once :(, and the case protected it from damage. The case is built to be watertight (an added level of protection for the waterproof Pixel 7a), but i have been shy about dunking my new phone as of yet, so can't speak to that. The case fully envelops the phone and has a tight, pull-back rubber cover over the charging plug. It *looks* to be watertight. My charger fits easily inside the space for charging, and all the case buttons line up perfectly with the phone buttons.There is also a thinner round spot on the screen-cover part of this case; it goes over the fingerprint sensor which, unfortunately, Google put on the screen itself. My understanding is that getting the sensor to work with a screen protector is a generalized complaint across Pixel 7a owners and not specific to any one product. My fingerprint sensor worked 100 percent before putting the case on, and much better with the case on **once I had turned off "high contrast" mode on the phone** (High contrast mode also warps outgoing messages' text in a weird way on-screen, making them harder to read. Not a good feature of the phone.) Still, the fingerprint sensor is iffy once you are protecting your phone. Sometimes it reads; sometimes it doesn't. Again, I don't think that is specific to this product, just something 7a owners have to deal with.I like that the back of this case is see-through, because i have a (pretty!) coral-colored 7a, and so i can still see it with this case on.My only complaint is that the company thoughtfully added a carrying strap with the case, but only put holes for it to be inserted on one corner of the case (instead of two), making the strap most appropriate for right-handed people, or others who hold the phone in their left hand, while doing all screen touches with the right hand. Left handers are again excluded. Sigh...Bottom line: this is a phone worth protecting, and to me it seems this is a case that does that job well.

the case is sturdy, but the cutout for charger cable insert does not fit well for Anker charging cable, which is better cable than other types.

I am pretty hard on my phones so needed some extra protection. The fact you don't need an extra screen protector is a plus, but sound quality of phonecalls is a drawback of the complete protection the waterproof case provides. I will say use EXTREME care when applying the fingerprint sticker on the inside of the case as directed. The instructions are not very detailed and I could have used an instruction video like some competitors but this is not included with the case. The back of the case vibrates with audio which is mildly annoying, but it's nice not to worry about spills, drops or the like. Listening to podcasts while in the shower and not having to worry was nice. Overall I would recommend this case, but there are some factors to consider.
