These are noticeably different than the set I bought 15 years ago from Bed Bath and Beyond. It is much thicker and heavier, and much more off white than my original plates. Some items in my original set say “Japan” on the bottom; this plate says “Made in China.”

I have the whole set of these dishes (12) ea. I just love that they are white and can go with any decor. However, one broke and I ordered another one thru amazon.

I have 8 place settings of these dishes and love them. Unfortunately, my husband broke one plate, so I replaced it easily via Amazon. The dishes are pretty, durable, casual or upscale.

I had a set of these already, but the size of our family keeps increasing so I needed additional plates. So glad I could get just the plates and not have to buy a whole place setting. Strangely though, they are much heavier than my original ones.

Very pretty, but the glaze job is not very good. And the plates are very thick and heavy. Do not stack well in the cabinet taking up alot of room.

I was hosting Easter and already had this French Country set from when I first got married 18 years ago! This Mikasa French country plates, bowls, etc are beautiful, durable, and timeless!I was happy to see that Mikasa is still selling replacements and additions to this classic set! Item got to me in two days and well packaged.

It’s much better than the Italian country style one. Unlike the (Mikasa) Italian country bowls, these are thicker- less likely to crack, has a good weight, doesn’t get hot in the microwave and it’s a good size. Overall I was very pleased with these that I ordered another set.
