I purchased my stemware from a consignment shop, I got 8 pieces for $55, so also try the thrift shops as well. I was concerned about it being full lead crystal but I found that it's ok to drink from just don't store acidic beverage in it for weeks or months. Hope you enjoy your purchase.

We got married in 1998 and registered for Mikasa Park Lane Crystal. We received, as wedding gifts, 8 wine, 8 iced beverage, 8 highball, 8 double old fashioned and a stem vase. We could not have made a better choice for our crystal. Over the 20+ years our taste in many things has changed but not our love of Park Lane. Each piece still looks brand new. We see it in movies and TV shows often. In recent years I have become a single malt Scotch whisky enthusiast and decided to finally purchase a whisky decanter to start my own house malt blend. I found the Park Lane whisky decanter online and looking forward to its arrival.

The price is for a SINGLE wine glass, not a set of four. My fault for not double checking. Quality is fine, but price is much too high.

When Mikasa had their stores in the shopping malls you could purchase their stemware for $7.99 a piece. Then they closed them and I could not replace the broken pieces so I basically gave them away. I was considering starting a new collection but not at these prices!

When my husband and I first married, we chose this pattern for our stemware. The main reason was that it has deep cut grooves which sparkle like crazy in the light. They are lovely but not delicate so that you would not want to use them for fear you would break them. We've been married for 23 years and this is the first time I have had to replace a few. Amazon had a great special: buy 3 get one free. We use these stemware and the champagne stemware frequently and they have held up fantastically. We have even put them in the dishwasher and they come out just fine. I love this line! For the price, you just can't beat Park Lane stemware!

I bought these glasses over 10 years ago and they are still my favorite glasses. I have 8 of them and also bought the and the I use both this wine glass and the goblet for wine since the goblet isn't much bigger than the wine glass. I use the wine glass for red and this one for white wines. If I'm having just one wine I use it as a goblet. On holidays I usually put all three on the table and it looks so elegant, especially with candles on the table because the cuts in the glasses really reflect the light and it makes the whole table sparkle.I always put these in the dishwasher and have been doing so for over 10 years without any problem. That's one of the reasons I bought these glasses. The glass is fairly thick and doesn't break easily. You'd have to drop them on the floor to break them. The last thing I want to worry about after a dinner party is washing all the glasses by hand. If it can't go into the dishwasher, I won't buy it!I've bought these as wedding gifts or as birthday gifts on a couple of occasions and the recipients really liked them.It's funny that someone else here remarked that they've seen these glasses on tables in TV shows and in movies. I've noticed that so many times. Maybe it's because they're durable, not too expensive, and because they look so elegant. Every time I set the table I'm glad I bought these.
