I used these magnets to mount on my crank arm to act as a magnet for my cadence sensor. The original magnet could not be used anymore because i installed power meter pedals that filled the bolt hole where the original magnet was supposed to go. Using a small metal bit, I just drilled a small hole on the inside of my crank arm, stacked two magnets and fastened it with the screw provided...perfect fit and these nice strong magnets are easily picked up by my sensor. For the cost of this package of magnets I can easily take care of 15+ bikes and all their magnet sensor needs...amazing.

These work great! I screwed them to the back of wooden signs and used large washers to affix the signs to table cloths without leaving residue. They allowed me to run my festival and make eco-friendly signs that can be used year after year.I ordered two packs and only had one magnet crack in half.

Maybe these are worth 4 stars. They're strong like any of these magnets. They come with small screws and a countersunk side to screw them into wood. But my issue is with the polarity of the magnets and the countersink. You know how magnets work - they only attract each other when they're aligned a certain way, + to - polarity. I am using them to secure a wood access panels to a stud wall. I would screw magnets into small holes in the studs, and then screw their mating magnet into a "picture frame" around the removable panels. The two magnets would hold together very tightly, which is what I needed, but could be pried apart when I needed access to the plumbing fixtures behind the panel.I got 50 magnets, and thought 25 would be countersunk on the + side of the magnets, the other 25 on the negative side. Screw one to a stud, the other to the panel, and they'd grip tight. Unfortunately, 40 of the magnets were oriented in one direction, and only 10 in the other.I'm not sure if the 40/10 split was by design, or just what randomly came out of the drilling and plating process. In any case, I can make them work. (Had to drill some of the magnet holes deeper and screw them in from the non-countersunk side with slightly longer screws.)I looked back at other magnets on Amazon and didn't see any that said they were paired to work together for what I needed, but I was surprised they either weren't all + side countersunk, or were split 25/25 to pull together as a pair. Not a huge deal, but worth considering if your project requires two magnets per location.

You get a good variety of magnets in this pack. The chamfered hole make it easy to screw these into your projects if that's what you're using them for. Magnets are small, so somewhat weak comparatively to larger magnets, so keep that in mind

Neat magnets, with decent screws. At 3mm, they are thinner than many of the other screw-in varieties available. Used successfully for old cabinet doors (with a plain steel strip on other side), putting two or three in a row. The doors stay closed now. Strong enough to hold a knife on a wall.

Made a firewood measuring tool for my chainsaw with these and a wood dowel. Saved probably $30-50 making this tool as opposed to buying a purpose built tool. Strong enough to hold a 22", half inch diameter dowel.

I do not use the screws but when I do the heads break off when drilling into walnut. May be OK if in pine. The magnets are awesome I glue them in the back of my bottle openers to catch the tops

Bought these to replace a couple of magnets that had lost their grip on our heater in the attic in one of our rental units. I didnt even need to screw it it because it is so strong. Definitely will buy more when needed.

Rare Earth magnets come in different strengths like N42, N52, etc. These are pretty strong, but not as strong as I was hoping for. I don't know what the actual rating for these was. Good price. Pretty good quality

They are strong AF!But they can crack when you put them together in storage, because they are so strong its hard not to get them to snap together (you try to put your fingers between 2 of these, it'll pinch and hurt a lot , which is a reason for the plastic discs between each magnet, to soften the impact between magnets when putting them together.
