You better already know how this product works if you are going to buy the Mikinona brand of humidifier. It doesn't come with any instructions. A beginner could potentially put this in their instrument as-is and think they are providing humidity. Or they might think to go back to the product page and read through the entire product description and still find no instructions. But maybe -- just maybe -- they would examine each of the photos carefully, see that the fifth photo shows instructions in Chinese that are also not included in the box, find the seventh photo includes another image of the unreadable (to most) Chinese instructions, but finally actually gives some instructions at the bottom: "Easy to insert, just put in water for 20 seconds, take out, and put in F hole."At least this is a decent deal if you have three instruments to humidify or just like to have extras around.
